Including Thought Provoking Book

I graduated from Florida International University with a master’s degree in Public Administration and Florida State University with a Bachelor of Social Work, and since I’ve been obsessed with change, I wiggled my way into the social justice world. I have taken my perspective as an adult formerly in foster care and professional to show up as the change I hope to see in the world.
In my “spare” time, I care for my natural hair and binge watch sitcoms. My favorites are oldies like A Different World and In the Heat of the Night, others are Dear White People, How to get Away with Murder, The Chi and Law and Order SUV to name a few.
Reading, yoga, music and traveling are a few of my favorite things, and I live in Miami.
My debut memoir, LABELED: Ward of the State is out now.
Thanks for stopping by.
